The Cybex Institute for Exercise Science has assembled a distinguished group of professionals in the areas of fitness and exercise science, sports performance, and rehabilitation, who support the Institute's mission of disseminating vital information to industry colleagues and fitness enthusiasts. Senior Trainers and Master Trainers conduct educational seminars and workshops, create context-dependent fitness protocols, and contribute written articles and other media, based on their own particular areas of expertise. Research Fellows of the Institute engage in research on behalf of Cybex, and their findings are part of the Institute’s efforts to lead the industry in human movement science as it applies to fitness equipment and exercise programming.
Jeremy Boone

Jeremy is the founder of Athlete By Design Inc.,

, an international consulting firm and InnerTactics Inc., the official home of Sports Axiology that profiles athletes’ decision making during play. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Licensed Neuromuscular Therapist, a Certified Axiological Practitioner, has worked with athletes and teams in the NFL, NBA, and is part of the strength and conditioning program for the NFL Carolina Panthers.
Chad Bukhari
- Senior Trainer
Chad is partnered with Powerhut Gym, one of the largest and best fitness centers in the Middle East, and writes a regular health and fitness column in the Jordan Times, along with other well-known periodicals. Along with his studies in biomechanics, Chad has a law degree, and worked in the United Nations. His real passion, however, leads him to the development of fitness education centers throughout the Middle East.
Julia Dalgleish

Julia is an Associate and Coach for K2 Performance Systems in the United Kingdom, and specializes in the coaching of seniors, ante, and postnatal clients. She assisted in the development of the National Operating Standards in Coaching, Teaching & Instructing and is author of

Aaron Kleinwolterink
- Senior Trainer
Aaron is the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at the Centers for Athletic Performance (CAP) where he trains and collects data on over 1000 athletes, annually. The majority of his research is targeted towards strength, power and plyometric training, where he has published several studies documenting improved vertical performance, strength gains and power gains from various types of programs.

Paulo Marchetti

Heiko Martin

An avid rock climber, veteran physical therapist, Heiko Martin, is a member of the Swiss Society for Advanced Physiotherapy and the European Interdisciplinary Society for Sports and Clinical Education. His vast experiences include manual therapy, isokinetic testing, climbing therapy, and customer service applications. He is a member of the Porsche Race Driver medical team and a frequent lecturer in medicine and fitness.
Scott Moody

Scott is the founder, owner and Director of Athletefit,

, a training and research facility devoted to improving athletic performance. He is also the founder of the National Human Performance Institute (NHPI), a standardized testing and research company that tracks the development of athletes across the country.
Adam deJong
- Research Fellow
Adam is the assistant director of Preventive Cardiology and Rehabilitation at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan and is a faculty lecturer at in the School of Health Sciences at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. He earned his Bachelors of Applied Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Exercise Science from Central Michigan University.
Tom Spring

Tom earned a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Oakland University in 2001 with a graduate certificate in Complimentary Medicine and Wellness. Currently, Tom works as a Senior Exercise Physiologist/Program Supervisor for William Beaumont Hospital’s department of Preventive Cardiology and Rehabilitation, adjunct faculty with Oakland Community College, Owner of Cardiovascular Training Specialists, LLC, and director of ACSM Certified Personal Trainer workshops and Online Education for Fitness Resource Associates, Inc.
